Hanney Community Pub Ltd was formed in 2014 to purchase The Plough in West Hanney from the previous owners – a brewery chain.   This was financed by shares sold to Hanney villagers all sharing the aim of ensuring the pub continued to be a key asset to the community.

The tenants are encouraged to offer a wide range of local and national beers alongside a well-selected range of wines and other beverages.

It is also the intent of HCP Ltd to encourage our Landlords to offer mainly locally sourced, ingredient-led food of a high-standard and to be a great village hub - welcoming all whether it is to pop in for a quick drink, a light meal or fine dining.

The Board remain committed to ensuring this fine old thatched Inn is maintained to the highest standards protecting our shareholders interests and that of our community in a positive partnership with the Tenants.
